- For Geologist Group A: Passed / Appearing Master Degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Geo-Exploration, Mineral Exploration, Engineering Geology, Marine Geology, Earth Science, or Equivalent Degree.
- For Geophysicist Group A: Passed / Appearing Master Degree in Science in Physics, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Marine Geophysics, or Equivalent Degree.
- For Chemist Group A: Master Degree in Science (M.Sc) Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Passed / Appearing from Any Recognized University in India.
- For Scientist B: Passed / Appearing (Final Year) Master Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, or Equivalent Degree from Any Recognized University in India.
