National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Recruitment Announcement for Senior Assistant Positions at NIFT, Delhi, stands as the premier institution for fashion education in India. Recognized as a statutory institute in 2006 by the Indian Parliament, NIFT operates with the President of India as its ‘Visitor’ and boasts 18 fully equipped campuses nationwide. Over the years, NIFT has also served as a vital knowledge provider to both Union and State governments, particularly in the realms of design development and the promotion of handlooms and handicrafts.

Vacant Positions:

Applications are currently being solicited on a deputation basis for the following roles at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT):

1. Senior Assistant (Administration)
   • Pay Level/Pay Band: Level- 6 (7th CPC) / PB-2 [Rs. 9300 – 34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- (6th CPC)]
   • Locations: Head Office, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Daman, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Mumbai, Panchkula, Patna, Raebareli, Shillong, Srinagar, Surat & Varanasi.
2. Senior Assistant (Finance & Accounts)
   • Pay Level/Pay Band: As per rules.
   • Locations: Head Office, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Daman, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Panchkula, Patna & Srinagar.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Senior Assistant (Administration):

• Officers Eligible: Central Govt. / State Govt. / UT / Autonomous Organization / PSUs personnel holding analogous positions on a regular basis or possessing a minimum of ten years of regular service in Level-4 with relevant experience in Purchase Procedures, Establishment Matters, Admission Procedures, or Administrative Affairs.
• Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment should not exceed 56 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications.
• Period of Deputation: The tenure of deputation shall be three years, extendable for a maximum period of two additional years.

For Senior Assistant (Finance & Accounts):

• Officers Eligible: Central Govt. / State Govt. / UT / Autonomous Organization / PSUs personnel holding analogous positions on a regular basis or possessing a minimum of ten years of regular service in Level-4 with experience in finance and accounts matters.
• Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment should not exceed 56 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications.
• Period of Deputation: The tenure of deputation shall be three years, extendable for a maximum period of two additional years.
