Central University of Jammu is pleased to announce Employment Notification No. 31, inviting applications through online mode for various non-teaching positions. We are seeking eligible candidates with the prescribed qualifications, experience, and age criteria as outlined for each post.

Application Process: Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online. Please ensure that the online applications are complete in all respects. Additionally, a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- is applicable for general category candidates (except for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories and regular employees of Central University of Jammu).

Instructions to Applicants: Before submitting the online application, candidates are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and other conditions mentioned in the official notification. It is imperative to ensure compliance with all requirements to avoid any discrepancies during the selection process.

• Technical Assistant (Computer cum Electronics)
  • Age: Up to 40 Years
  • Essential Qualification & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Computer Science and Technology/Information Technology/Electronics/Electronics & Communication from a recognized University or Institute. OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Technology/MCA from a recognized University/Institute.
    • Minimum of 02 years of relevant experience in a University/Research Establishment/Central/State Govt./PSU/autonomous bodies or reputed private organization with an annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 Crores or more.
• Upper Division Clerk
  • Age: Up to 40 Years
  • Essential Qualification & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University/Institute.
    • Two years of experience as Lower Division Clerk/Equivalent posts in University/Research Establishment/Central State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies or equivalent pay package in reputed Private Companies/corporate banks with a minimum annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 Crores or more.
    • Speed in English Typing @ 35 wpm OR Speed in Hindi Typing @ 30 wpm.
    • Proficiency in Computer Operations.
• Laboratory Attendant
  • Age: Up to 35 Years
  • Essential Qualification:
    • 10+2 with Science stream from any recognized Central/State Board. OR 10th Pass from any recognized Central/State Board with Science as one of the subjects and a skill certificate program in Laboratory Technology.

Note: One UR post of Technical Assistant (Computer cum Electronics) and Upper Division Clerk are Lien Posts. Candidates appointed against these lien posts will be on a temporary basis until the lien exists. If the lien employee does not rejoin, the appointed candidates will be liable to be confirmed substantially, subject to fulfilling the terms and conditions of probation.
