Punjab Police has released a notification for the recruitment of Police Constable vacancies (except for the vacancies against the sports quota, which shall be filled separately in the District Police Cadre & Armed Police Cadre of the Punjab Police). Candidates interested in the vacancy details and who have completed all eligibility criteria can read the Notification and Apply Online.

Application Fee:

• For General: Rs. 1150/- (Application Fee Rs. 500/- + Examination Fee Rs. 650/-)
• For Ex-Servicemen(ESM) of Punjab State only/Lineal Descendants of ESM: Rs. 500/- (Application Fee Rs. 500/-)
• For SC/ST of all States and BC of Punjab State only & EWS Candidates: Rs. 650/- (Application Fee Rs. 500/- + Examination Fee Rs. 150/-)

Payment Mode: Through Internet banking, Debit /Credit card, etc.

Important Dates:

• Starting Date to Apply Online & Payment of Fee: March 14, 2024 (Thursday) at 07:00 pm
• Last Date to Apply Online & Payment of Fee: April 4, 2024 (Thursday) till 11:55 pm

Age Limit (as on January 1, 2024):

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Qualification:

• Candidates Should Possess 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/ University.
• In case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation.

Physical Standard:

• For being eligible for the post of Constable in District & Armed Police, the minimum height required for male candidates is 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cms) and for female candidates is 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cms).
