Essential Qualifications:

  • An Engineering Degree, or
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a Postgraduate Degree in Management, Commerce, Arts, or Science.

Experience Requirements:

Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of experience in the power sector, particularly in finance, commercial operations, or liaising roles with Public Sector Undertakings, state electricity distribution companies (discoms), or government departments. A profound understanding of the power sector’s business environment, including essential soft skills, is requisite. Eligible candidates should have concluded their careers at levels equivalent to E6 to E8 in organizations such as NTPC.

Role Overview:

  • Gathering, analyzing, and leveraging data to enhance stakeholder relationships.
  • Advocating for timely payments with electricity distribution companies.
  • Engaging with state discoms, customers, and state authorities to foster growth and address issues, including regulatory interfaces with Regional Power Committees (RPC), Regional Load Despatch Centres (RLDC), and State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERC).
  • Supporting new stations, renewable energy power tie-ups, consultancy, and business development within the region by liaising with high-level state authorities.
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Office.

Terms of Engagement:

The selected candidates will be engaged for an initial period of six months, with the possibility of extension for another six months based on performance and project requirements.

Age Criteria:

Applicants must be below 64 years of age to be considered for this position.
