NEHU Recruitment 2024: Apply for Various Non-Teaching Positions

North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the following Group A Non-Teaching positions. Interested candidates meeting the criteria are encouraged to apply through the official website www.nehu.ac.in before the application deadline on 23rd February 2024.

1. Finance Officer

• No of Posts: 1 (UR:1)
• Upper Age Limit: 57 years
• Salary: Pay Level-14 (Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200)

Essential Qualification for Direct Recruitment:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Minimum 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above or 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 and above.
• Desirable: Experience in Indian Audit and Accounts Services/Indian Defense Accounts/Audit Services/Finance branch of similar organized services.

For Deputation:

• Qualification as per direct recruitment.
• Appointment preferably by drawing officers not below Level-12 from relevant services.

2. Controller of Examinations

• No of Posts: 1 (UR:1)
• Upper Age Limit: 57 years
• Salary: Pay Level-14 (Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200)

Essential Qualification for Direct Recruitment:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Minimum 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above or 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 and above.
• Desirable: Capable of implementing various provisions of NEP and well-versed with technological advancements.

For Deputation:

• Same qualifications and experience as direct recruitment.

3. University Engineer

• No of Posts: 1 (UR:1)
• Upper Age Limit: 56 years
• Salary: Pay Level-13 (Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900)

Essential Qualification for Direct Recruitment:

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as Executive Engineer in relevant field.
• Desirable: Experience in construction of multi-story buildings and knowledge of CPWD manuals.

For Deputation:

• Same qualifications and experience as direct recruitment.

4. Deputy Registrar

• No of Posts: 4 (UR:2, OBC:1, ES:1)
• Upper Age Limit: 50 years
• Salary: Pay Level-12 (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200)

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Five years experience as Assistant Registrar or in equivalent post.
• Desirable: Experience in administrative matters related to employees’ service matters, recruitment, pension, etc.

5. Assistant Registrar

• No of Posts: 4 (UR:2, OBC:1, SC:1)
• Upper Age Limit: 40 years
• Salary: Pay Level (As per norms)

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• All India open competition conducting written tests and interviews for direct recruitment.
• Desirable: Hands-on experience or in a supervisory capacity in the field of Finance/Procurement/Technical management/employee service matters.
