Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme Course (TES) (10+2): About
The Indian Army has released a notification for the Technical Entry Scheme Course (TES) (10+2) – 50 Course commencing in January 2024. This course is open for unmarried male candidates. Interested candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria can refer to the notification and apply online.
Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme Course (TES) (10+2): Overview
Unmarried male candidates who have completed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects and have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2023 examination are invited to apply. Fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the subsequent paragraphs is necessary for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.
Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme Course (TES) (10+2): Eligibility
(i) Candidates who have successfully completed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from recognized education boards are eligible to apply for this entry. The eligibility criteria for calculating the PCM percentage of various state/central boards will be based on the marks obtained in Class XII only.
(ii) It is mandatory for candidates to have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2023 examination in order to be eligible for this opportunity.
Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme Course (TES) (10+2): Age Limit
- The candidate must be between 16½ years and 19½ years old on the first day of the month in which the course is scheduled to commence.
- The candidate should not be born before 02 Jul 2004 and not after 01 Jul 2007 (both days inclusive).
