What is CUET?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) on an annual basis at over 500 locations both in India and abroad. The exam, which used to be known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) until the University Grants Commission (UGC) made a change, is now used as a means of granting admission to undergraduate courses offered by participating institutions throughout India. The duration of the exam is two hours, and it is computer-based. Previously, CUCET was administered in a paper-pencil-based mode by the UGC, but since last year, the NTA has taken over and conducts the exam online.
