Kolkata Police Constables/Lady Constables Vacancy
Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens having the following eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Constables/Lady Constables in Kolkata Police – 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Age:
- Applicants must be a minimum of 18 (Eighteen) years old and a maximum of 30 (Thirty) years old as of 01.01.2024.
- Upper age limit relaxation applies as follows:
- a) Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Candidates: By 5 (five) years.
- b) Other Backward Classes-A and Other Backward Classes-B Candidates: By 3 (three) years.
- c) Third Gender/Transgender Persons: By 3 (three) years.
- d) Civic Volunteers Serving in Kolkata Police: By 5 (five) years.
- e) Ex-servicemen Candidates: By the total number of years of completed service, with a maximum age of 40 (forty) years.
The application window for applying online mode only will remain operative for the period 01.03.2024 (from 00:01 hrs.) to 29.03.2024 (till 23:59 hrs.).
