• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Permanent resident of Chandigarh.
  • Belong to Scheduled Caste category.
  • Pursuing studies at post-matric or post-secondary level (class 11 to postdoctoral level) at a government recognized institution/ college/ university.
  • Annual family income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Transgender Students, Chandigarh

• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Permanent residents of Chandigarh.
  • Belong to the transgender category.
  • Passed matriculation/ higher secondary or any higher exam of a university.
  • Pursuing post-secondary or post-matriculation courses, except training courses, from a recognized institution.
  • Annual family income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
  • All children of the same parents/guardian are eligible.
  • Students studying through correspondence can apply.
  • Employed students on leave without pay for the entire duration of a full-time course are eligible.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students, Chandigarh

• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Belong to the OBC category.
  • Passed matriculation/ higher secondary or any higher exam of a university.
  • Studying in class 11 or above.
  • Only 2 children of the same parents are entitled to receive the scholarship (not applicable for girl candidates).
