BPSC Headmaster Selection Process
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is expected to conduct the recruitment for Headmaster positions in the Education Department soon. Candidates aspiring to participate in this recruitment must have a thorough understanding of the selection process. The complete details of the selection process for BPSC Headmaster are as follows:
Written Examination: A written examination will be conducted for the Headmaster positions. The exam will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. Out of these, 100 questions will be based on General Studies, and 50 questions will be related to the B.Ed course. The written exam will be conducted on an OMR sheet, with each question carrying one mark. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
Interview: No interview will be conducted for the BPSC Headmaster position.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: After clearing the written examination, candidates belonging to the General category must score a minimum of 40%, 36.5% for Backward Class candidates, 34% for Extremely Backward Class candidates, and 32% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, Women, and Divyang candidates.
Document Verification: After successfully clearing all stages, candidates will undergo document verification and other related processes. Upon successfully completing all stages, candidates will be selected for the Headmaster positions in Bihar’s government schools.
