The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to organize the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination for December 2022 / June 2023. Examination Pattern
The CSIR NET 2023 Question Paper will consist of three sections: Part A, Part B, and Part C. Part A is common to all subjects and will contain a maximum of 20 questions on General Aptitude. Candidates are required to answer any 15 questions, with each question carrying two marks. This section is allocated a total of 30 marks out of 200. CSIR NET Part A evaluates candidates’ teaching/research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension skills, divergent thinking, and general awareness. CSIR NET Part B and Part C include subject-specific questions chosen by candidates from the following five subjects: Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
