Central Government Scholarship In India
The primary objective of the financial assistance program is to support deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by alleviating a portion of their daily expenses incurred during their pursuit of higher education.
The scholarships are administered by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and are contingent upon the performance in Higher Secondary / Class XII Board Examinations. Annually, up to 82,000 new scholarships are disbursed to enable students to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in various institutions, including colleges and universities. Additionally, scholarships are available for professional courses such as Medical and Engineering programs.
