UPSC IAS 2019 Result (Prelims)– The results of Prelims exam of Civil Services conducted by UPSC on 2nd June have been published on the official website on 12th July. UPSC has identified 896 vacant positions in various civil services. UPSC IAS 2019 Result (Prelims) will be declared on the official website. It can be downloaded in PDF format. In order to qualify for the UPSC Mains 2019, candidates need to score at least the minimum UPSC IAS Prelims 2019 Cut off marks. In addition to releasing UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2019 result, Commission will soon be declaring UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2019 Answer Keys and Cut-Off on the Commission’s website.
The Commission has also given the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the candidates who have been shortlisted for UPSC Civil Services Mains 2019. They need to apply from 01 August 2019 to 16 August 2019 till 6.00 PM.

How to download UPSC IAS 2019 Result (Prelims)?
The results for Prelims have been published on the official website. Following are the steps to download
Step 1: Visit the official website – www.upsc.gov.in. The link can be directly accessed from https://upsconline.nic.in/
Step 2: Under “What’s New” section, click on ‘UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2019’ notification
Step 3: Enter your details like Roll number & DOB. Submit.
Step 4: A PDF file will be displayed with names of selected candidates
Step 5: Download the PDF file and take a print out for future use
Candidates who clear the UPSC IAS 2019 Prelims must apply for the Mains exam on upsconline.nic.in itself. The date for written UPSC IAS 2019 Mains exam is scheduled for 20th September 2019. Mains will be a written test, unlike the prelims which was an objective type. The rank list will be decided on the basis of the marks obtained in the Mains exam and the interview. UPSC will release marks on public portals for employment opportunities. The information released can be utilized by public and private recruitment agencies to appoint suitable candidates.
