SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2019: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the result for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam (CHSL) 2018 on September 12. Those who had appeared for the exam can check their result at the official website, ssc.nic.in.A total of 47,606 candidates got qualified in the Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam (CHSL) 2018 Tier-I examination. The Staff Selection Commission released the state/ zone wise tentative vacancies in posts under various ministries for the Combined Higher Secondary Level recruitment 2017. The candidates who got selected have to submit the option form for preference with their name and roll number. A total of 5789 vacancies are expected to be filled through this recruitment process
Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) (Tier-I) Examination, 2018 from 01.07.2019 to 11.07.2019 in the Computer Based Mode for Recruitment of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators and Lower Divisional Clerks at various centres all over the country.

As many as 29.68 lakh applicants registered for the exam of which only 13.17 lakh had appeared for SSC CHSL Tier I. The Tier II exam is expected to held on September 29, admit cards of which will be released soon. The selection for Tier II will be based on the score of the first stage exam. The exam is conducted to enrol class 12 pass students for various government jobs including PA, data entry operator, lower divisional clerk and others.

Step 5: The candidates’ may take a print out of their respective Response Sheets, as the same will not be available after the above-specified time limit.
There will be three stages of the selection process for SSC:
Tier I: Computer-based examination; Total Marks: 200 marks; Negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer
Tier II: Descriptive paper; Total Marks: 100 marks; Pen-and-paper mode; Duration: One hour
Tier III: Skill test or typing test
