SSC CGL 2017 – Vacancy details in SSC CGL(Combined Graduate Level ) Examination 2017 have been released by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Tentatively speaking 9284 vacancies in different departments and for different profiles have been released. The break up is given in the official notification. The recruitment drive is for all category of posts including group A, B, C, and D.
A recap to the SSC CGL 2017 Tier-3 examination – The written exam was held on 8th July 2018 across the country. The results were declared on 9th May 2019 on the basis of overall performance in Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III. For qualifying the SSC CGL, a candidate needs to clear Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III individually. Initially, the number of vacancies announced was 9475. Now the recruitment drive is to fill 9284 vacancies. It was on the orders of Supreme Court that results were announced. Earlier SSC CGL 2017 Tier 3 results had been put on hold by SSC due to the alleged leak of examination papers.
9284 posts released by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is for recruitment to various posts in ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India. Some of the profiles for which recruitment will happen include assistant Audit Officer Group ‘B’, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant, Inspector Of Income Tax 1, Junior Statistical Officer, Auditor, Upper Division Clerk, Tax Assistant. Candidates who have qualified the written exam can check the number of posts in accordance with the departments and can apply for the same if they meet the eligibility criteria.
