BSF Head Constable 2019 Written Exam, Physical & Medical Tests For 1248 Revised Vacancies

BSF Head Constable 2019 – Border Security Force will conduct the exam for the posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in Group ‘C’ on 22nd September 2019 at selected centres on the date and time fixed by HQ DG BSF. Border Security Force (BSF) has announced 1248 Revised vacancies for the Non-Gazetted & Non-Ministerial posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in Group ‘C’ on temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force (Communication Setup). The posts have All India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidates shall be governed by the BSF Act and Rules.
BSF Head Constable RO & RM 2019 VACANCIES
Vacancies for direct and departmental recruitment for the post of HC (RO) and HC (RM) have now been revised as under:

BSF Head Constable RO & RM 2019 Exam Pattern
BSF Head Constable RO & RM 2019 Exam will consist of 3 phases –
1) Written Test OMR Based in MCQ Format,
2) PST, PET & Documentation and Descriptive Written Test and
3) Final Medical Examination.
Phase 1: Written Test OMR Based To Be Held On 22nd September 2019
The MCQ type written examination of 3 hours duration will be conducted at selected centres on the date and time fixed by HQ DG BSF. In the written examination MCQ paper, there will be 100 questions of 200 marks, divided in the following four parts:
However, the number of candidates to qualify in the OMR Based screening test and further to appear in the next phase shall be restricted to 20 times the number of vacancies for recruitment post.
Note: – Request for a re-evaluation of OMR sheets will not be entertained.
Phase 2: PST, PET & Documentation and Descriptive Written Test
PST, PET & Documentation (2nd December 2019 Onwards)
All the candidates appearing in this stage must have to qualify the PST/PET and documentation for further appearing in the next stage
BSF Constable 2019 Descriptive Written Test To Be Held on 2nd February 2019
a) FOR HC (RO):- Candidates must qualify descriptive test as well as dictation test during this stage.
b) FOR HC (RM):- Candidates must have to qualify a descriptive test during this stage.
Note: For BSF Serving Personnel – Departmental candidate shall be excluded from PST/PET. However, they have to attend 2 Phase recruitment only for Documentation and descriptive test(s) only.
THIRD PHASE: Final medical examination (13th April 2020 Onwards)
BSF Constable 2019 Medical Standard
(i) A minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction, i.e., without wearing glasses.
(ii) Must pass a high-grade colour vision test.
(iii) Must not have knock-knees, flat feet or varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess CP-III BY ISHIHARA.
(iv) Must be in sound mental and bodily health and free from any defect/deformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
