UPSC Recruitment of IES and ISS 2012- Apply online

UPSC is going to hold a combined competitive examination for the recruitment to Group IV of the Indian Economic Services(IES) and ISS(Indian Statistical Service) on 1st Dec,2012.

Details of Vacancies in Grade IV of the services are:

Indian Economic Services:31

Indian Statistical Service:29

Age limit: Candidate age must be between 21 to 30 years as on 1 Aug,2012

Educational qualifications: (i)For Indian Economic Services: Candidate must have pursued a Post Graduate(PG) degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized University.

(ii)For Indian Statistical Services: Candidate must have pursued Post Graduate(PG) degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a recognized University.

Application fees: Candidates belonging to Open category are required to submit an application fee of Rs 200 either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using Net Banking facility of SBI,State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur,State Bank of Hyderabad,State Bank of Mysore,State Bank of Patiala,State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
