UPSC Recruitment of Economics Officer, Assistant Engineer and Junior Interpreter 2012

UPSC invites applications from the Indians to fill up the vacancies for the post of Economics Officer, Junior Interpreter and Assistant Engineer.

Vacancy Details:

Economic Officer: 4 posts

Junior Interpreter(Persian Language): 1 posts

Junior Interpreter(Spanish Language): 1 posts

Assistant Engineer(Wireless,Communication): 5 posts

Educational Qualifications:

(a) For Economic Officer: Candidate must have pursued PG Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics from a recognized University.

(b)For Junior Interpreter(Persian Language): (i )Candidate must have pursued PG degree in Persian Language with English as a core subject

(ii)Two years experience as a Translator in Persian Language to English Language.

or

(i) Candidate must have pursued UG degree in English and a Diploma equivalent Intern-ship standard in Persian Language from a recognized University

(ii)Three years experience as a Translator/Interpreter  in English to Persian Language

(b)For Junior Interpreter(Spanish Language): (i)Candidate must have pursued PG degree in Spanish Language with English as a core subject

(ii)Two years experience as a Translator in Spanish Language to English Language.

or

(i) Candidate must have pursued UG degree in English and a Diploma equivalent Intern-ship standard in Spanish Language from a recognized University

(ii)Three years experience as a Translator/Interpreter  in English to Spanish Language

(c)For Assistant Engineer: Candidate must have pursued  Degree in Electronics and Communication/Telecommunication  Engineering with Radio Communication as a special subject

Application Fee: All the General category candidates are required to pay Rs 25 for Application Fees whereas SC/ ST/ Women/ PH candidates are not required to pay any fees for Application form.
