Results to be Declared

UPSC Combined Section Officers/ Stenographers (Grade-B) Examination 2009, 2010 and 2011

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct the Combined Limited Departmental Competitive Exam for the posts of Section Officers and Stenographers (Grade B / Grade – I) on 15th December, 2012 at Chennai, Delhi, Kolkatta, Mumbai and Nagpur.

NOTE : The Candidates who are applying for Stenographers (GRADE – B) categories are to take the Written Examination and Shorthand test from Delhi Centre only.

The various services which will be made on the results of examination are given below :

Category I : Section Officers Grade of Central Secretariat Service

Category II : Section Officers (Grade II and Grade III) of the General Cadre of the Indian Foreign Service, Branch ‘B’

Category III : Section Officers Grade of the Railway Board Secretariat Service

Category IV : Grade A and B merged of the Central Secretarist Service

Category V : Grade I of the Stenographers Cadre of the Indian Foreign Service, Branch ‘B’

Category VI : Grade A and B merged of the Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service

(Not Participated for the year 2009)

Category VII : Grade B of the Railway Board Secretariat Stenographer’s Service

Category VIII : Section Officers Grade of the Intelligence Bureau

Category IX : Section Officers Grade of the Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service

(Not Participated for the year 2010 and 2011)

The Candidates who is eligible for more than one year of examination or for two categories of Service wishes to compete for both, need to fill in only one application by specifying in their application about the two categories in order of preference and the last date to fill the application form online is 15th October, 2012 till 11:59 pm. The last date for the receipt of printed copy of application in the Commission is 29th October, 2012 which is to be duly verified/ certified by concerned head of Department/ Office must reach under the following address :
