UGC NET June 2013 Result

University Grants Commission commonly known as UGC conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) twice every year. The Exam is usually conducted in the month of June and in December. NET is an entrance test for candidates who want teaching jobs at university level. This year UGC NET exam has already been conducted on 30th June, 2013.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates who wish to apply for UGC NET must have secured at least 55% of marks in Master’s Degree.

Candidates who are appearing for the Master’s degree can also apply for the test.

Category Candidates are requested to send an attested copy of their Category Certificates along with the application forms.

Test Scheme of UGC:

The test consists of a total of 3 papers as follows:

  • Paper 1 & Paper 2 = 200 Marks (100 Marks each)
  • Paper 3 = 150 Marks

Top 15 % candidates will be qualified for lectureship.

Duration of test : Paper 1 & Paper 2 is of 1 hr 15 mins each and Paper 3 is of 2 hr 30 mins.

NOTE: Candidates with visual disability will be given 30 mins extra for Paper I and Paper II.

Minimum Passing Marks: 

Paper 1 = 40 Marks (General) , 35 (OBC,PWD,SC,ST)

Paper 2 = 40 Marks (General) , 35 (OBC,PWD,SC,ST)

Paper 3= 75 Marks (General) , 68 (OBC), 60 (SC,ST,PWD)

The result will be made available on the link given above. Meanwhile the candidates who appeared in the UGC  NET DECEMBER 2012 can download the E-certificates at the link given below.
