I installed the software, but does that automatically take care of all the libraries, et al?

After compiling when I click on run, nothing happens. The programs stays there as it is and then even though the cursor moves, none of the options respond on being clicked.

Please suggest a solution. Also, can you upload snaps of what is actually supposed to happen once you click on run?

The program is nice, no problem with sizing the screen but like the other one who commented, after compiling and after clicking Run, nothing also happens. The statements that I have typed stays there with a moving cursor. Anyways, I’m really thankful to you and finally I’ve found a “running” compiler. Thanks a lot!

Great!! one single file to install and its done!! nice work!!
My System Spec: Windows 7 home premium 64 bit processor..
Everything works fine..but I noticed
1) After running a program the control comes back to the code page immediately..I suppose it should have waited on the output page itself..and secondly
2) After a few program runs the mouse clicking effect is no more useful..i.e. I can move the mouse but can’t click anything..so I have to use the keyboard to go everywhere.
Other than these 2 your application is amazing.

Finally, got it fixed!
Here are the steps that I followed:

1. Go to the folder C:\TurboC++
2. There you’ll find a file named dosbox.conf; open this file in notepad
3. In this file, you’ll find a line which says fulldouble=false
4. Modify this line and make fulldouble=true
5. Save the file
6. Run the program again from the desktop shortcut

I’ve fixed the Full Screen problem on my Windows 7-x64 using these steps:

Windows 7 64 bit full screen (Not Responding…)
Do this…..
Go to “C:\TurboC++\” and open “dosbox.conf” with notepad..
U will se something like this..

fullscreen=true
fulldouble=false
fullresolution=original
windowresolution=original
output=surface (change it from surface to opengl i.e. output=opengl)
autolock=false
sensitivity=100
waitonerror=true

after changing, save and exit and run it again….

Thaaaankss dude nd really works for windows 7 64 bit.
Also install dosbox 0.74 from here http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1
Now 1. Go to the folder C:\TurboC++
2. There you’ll find a file named dosbox.conf; open this file in notepad
3. In this file, you’ll find a line which says fulldouble=false
4. Modify this line and make fulldouble=true
5. Save the file
6. Run the program again from the desktop shortcut

Universities/colleges should stop teaching using turboc . They should use gcc to make student understand the compiler and linker concepts properly . Turboc was a boon in 1990s but not now .

Sir,
It is showing that bgi error.
actually i have C:\turboc++\disk\turboc3\bgi folder.
but in my program i typed like above. then it is showing that bgi error use initgraph.
i have a line like initgraph(&gd,&gm,”C:\turboc++\disk\turboc3\bgi”);
What i have to do to run this ?

i tried C:\turboc3\bgi
and
turboc3\bgi
etc.
please reply me as soon as possible.

i also had the same problem when i was trying to run it from start menu……but try to run from the folder where u have installed the software.there is a file dosbox,open it.it should work in full screen…….
but there is one thing that this soft does not work properly for c programs……

Hey there, i am trying to use this program for over a month now.
But every time i write the most basic program such as

using namespace std;
void main()
{
cin<<"Hello There";
return 0;
}

I always get a prompt stating "incorrect declaration"
Some of the programs i ran have been proven tested on compilers using windows XP

I have changed program directories location, re-installing, restarting etc.

I have done everything possible as per my knowledge. Please help me run this program coz i very desperately need this not to mention fear of losing Windows7 and reinstalling XP always haunts me.

dear frnds who r using windows 7 and have problem of fullscreen just follow these simple steps…

1) Open the location where your C++ is installed.

2)Open the file dosbox.conf with notepad.

3)Use fullscreen=true and output=overlay instead of output=surface.

4)After that just save the file and open your turbo c++.

It worked for me. Really I was looking for it from a long time.
