NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) is a joint initiative started by 7 IIT Institutes along with IISc Bangalore. It is a kind of E Learning Program consisting of many Courses in Engineering and Science all for free. The courses consist of Video lectures, graphical illustrations, lab demos, quizzes, HTML content, Presentations and much much more.

What is so special about this Program?

NPTEL covers all the major and minor Engineering and Science streams, with 40 Hours+ of video lectures for all courses and that too all for free. The videos are available in streaming and download formats primarily in 3gp, mp4 and flv formats along with content in mp3 format.
