GATE 2013 Examination – Notification, Form, Eligibility and Exam Dates

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all india exam that is organised by IIT. The online submission for GATE 2013 form starts from 1st September, 2012 as per notification and the last date to apply online is 30th September, 2012 on GATE 2013 official website. This Examination is not only an entrance test for Post Graduate studies in reputed institutes of india including IITs, IISC but it also acts as an Entrance to Post Graduate Courses in more than 300 tech institutes i.e. good engineering colleges. The GATE scores is useful in many ways as it is used as recruitment exam by many Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) like Power Grid, NTPC etc. These Public Sector Undertakings shortlist the candidates on the basis of GATE Examination Scores for interview in their selection procedure. Moreover, it acts as a Qualifying Exam for Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) scholarships and many others. GATE 2013 Application Form 

During submission of GATE 2013 Application form online, you have to take the print out of application form and send it with enclosures to the GATE zonal office. During filling up the GATE Form your main task is the choice of your Examination Center and in accordance to that is the GATE zonal office. NOTE:

There is no offline form for this examination

More number of GATE subjects have become online i.e. AE, AG, AR, BT, CE, CH, CY, GG, MA, MN, MT, PH, TF, XE and XL. The five GATE subjects are offline only i.e. CS, EC, EE, IN, ME and PI.

No Application fees is required for Female candidates

New Formula will be used for GATE Score Calculation

Soft Copies of photograph and signature must be required during online application.
