sol.- let A, B, C and D be the children:

A+B = 48
A+C= 49
A+D = 52
B+C = 53
B+D = 56
C+D = 57

solving above equations we get :

A=22
B=26
C=27
D=30 =========>> which is the greatest.

the ans to tht bicycle ques is 1300 only…
its 10% of the cost price not of selling price..
soln. let the cost price be x
10%of x is x/10
therefore,
x -x/10=1170
i.e. x=1300. ans.

please refer to the set b4 class 9 q. no57. the original area of the leaf is asked in the question which sould be 1mm^2 i.e.option 1 b’coz a 5x multiplying lens magnifies a thing by 5*5 i.e 25 times.
