AIEEE 2012 Topper Sanjeet Patri from Delhi

The results of the All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2012 were declared on Saturday (June 9) on CBSE’s official website: http://cbseresults.nic.in/

Over 11 lakh students had taken the AIEEE this year which is a gateway to numerous, some top-rung, engineering colleges, including the IIITs, National Institute of Technology (NITs) and Delhi Technological University.

Sandeep Pathry (AIEEE 2012 Topper) of Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi got the first rank, getting 346 out of 360 marks. Anant Gupta with AIR 2 is a Rajpura, Punjab resident who completed his high school education from Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27. He had secured 7th rank in IIT.

Among girls, Mansi Sood (AIEEE 2012 Topper Girl) of DPS Vasant Kunj, Delhi topped with all India rank of 6 with a score of 336 out of 360. The IIT JEE all India topper, Arpit Agrawal, secured the ninth rank in.

This year, the candidates of General category, OBC category, SC/ST category and Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories who obtained 48 marks, 45 marks, 18 marks and 18 marks respectively were declared eligible to fill in their choices for online counselling for B.E/B.Tech. and B.Arch/B.Planning which will be conducted by the Central Counselling Board-2012.

This year 11,37,256 candidates registered for Paper-I for B.E./B.Tech, out of which 10,61,854 candidates appeared and for Paper-ll for B.Arch/B.Planning 83,049 candidates registered out of which 71,316 candidates appeared.
