AIEEE 2012 Important News

All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) is and entrance examination conducted every year by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) for admission to bachelor courses like B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch./B. Planning in various national level institute’s like NITs, IITs, Deemed Universities, Private, Government Funded institutions in India.

The 11th All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE 2012) for admission to various NITs, IIITs, deemed Universities and for few States is proposed to be held by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi on 29th April, 2012 (Sunday) for admission in B.E/ B.tech and B.Arch/ B.Planning. The detailed information will also be available on AIEEE website i.e. www.aieee.nic.in in due course. This year, CBSE is planning to conduct online exam on mass scale. Students are advised to acquaint themselves.

Important Dates:-

online AIEEE 2012 is from 7th MAY 2012 to 25th MAY 2012
offline AIEEE is on 29th April 2012

AIEEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria:-

For AIEEE a candidate needs to pass in Class 12th with Physics and Mathematics is compulsory subjects & at least one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology.
For Architecture Courses Mathematics is compulsory subjects in class 12th with at least 50% marks aggregate.

AIEEE 2012 Paper Pattern:-

Paper 1:- Physics & Chemistry:- 150 objective type questions with equal weightage to Physics & Chemistry:- Total Marks 450

Paper 2:- Mathematics:- 75 objective type questions:- Total Marks 225Paper 3:- Biology (Botany & Zoology):- 75 objective type questions with almost equal weightage to Botany & Zoology:- Total Marks 225Paper 4:- Aptitude Test Part I:- 50 objective type questions:- Total Marks 150

Aptitude Test:-

Part II :- Two questions to test drawing aptitude:- Total Marks 75

#Forms will be available in designated branches of Syndicate Bank, CBSE Regional Office and Selected Institutes
