Indian Air Force conducted the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) at various centers in all over India on 26th August, 2012 for the admission on short service commission in flying branch and permanent short service commission in technical and duty branches. On Qualifying the AFCAT Test, the candidates will be further called for the test which will be conducted in AFSB Dehradun,Gandhinagar, Mysore and Varanasi. The Candidates who appeared in this Examination can check their result on its official website which has been revised on 23rd October 2012. The Shortlisted candidates will be required to log in and select choice of AFSB (Place and Date) for SSB Testing. The Allotment of this Choice would be on ‘ First Come First Serve Basis ‘. The Marks scored by all the Candidates would be uploaded by 30th October 2012 on the following link given below : Click here to Check Marks Scored in AFCAT 02/2012 Based on the induction requirements of the Indian Air Force , the performance of Candidates in AFCAT as well as statistics of Reporting and Success Rates at AFSBs, the cut off marks is 143/300 for shorlisting candidates for AFCAT 02/2012. The marks scored by all the candidates would be uploaded by 30th October 2012. hello all,
AFCAT 02 2012 results given on sept 29th have been cancelled , the new results will be updated in http://www.careerairforce.nic.in in few days but no specific date.. To join Indian Air Force one needs to have patience also , So utilize this time to know more and prepare well for the SSB , which is a real tough task ahead.
As the results are going to be given again , there is a gud probability to clear this time , who failed to be in the first result list , provided they fell they did atleast 70% best in the AFCAT.

the result of afcat looking very convince i have done my exam very well but still not find myself in the shortlist is there any result is pending how to know about the percentage of the exam i am very disappoints with this result because i don’t have 2nd chance for these exam as per my date of birth 09/09/1990 this sound very frustrating please help me what to do now to join Indian air-force its my dream to work in Indian air-force
